Yosemite Valley
I captured this image as I stopped along the Merced River in Yosemite National Park. As you drive out of the valley there is a small pullout along side the road that is right next to the Merced River.
I love to just sit here and take in the majestic valley. To the left you have the iconic granite formation known as El Capiton. To the right is the rock formation known as the Three Brothers. Depending on where you are along the river you can get a really nice view of Bridalveil Falls.
The real beauty of this place though in my opinion is the ability for one to just sit along the river listing to the water ripple through the rapids and to just soak in this beautiful scenery.
