So sorry...clarification. The location I was speaking of was originally a 240 acre site in Liberty, Missouri...not Independence.

I will have to take a look online for information on the Liberty site ... interesting for sure. This particular building was built in 1892 in Worcester, Massachusetts and was just demolished a few years ago to make room for a new Odd Fellows complex/building. You can probably find some more info on Wikipedia and some other historical websites. It was abandoned for a number of years... just a cool looking building haha.

Hmmm...I don't know much about the Odd Fellows other than they also had a large complex in Independence, Missouri. I don't know where your photo was taken...but it is an interesting shot.
