It's funny Maria...a week after I took this photograph the tree was taken down, sign gone, and construction started on the parking lot. Timing is everything in photography. Shoot it the day you have your camera and the light is right. Don't wait...don't go back another time. I go back to try to get a shot and sometimes stuff is gone or changes.

amazing what black and white can do to an image Luke - cool shot, V/F
Luke Moore replied:
It's so true. Black and white either makes the photograph, or it doesn't. Thanks for the V/F. Appreciate the Nikon photo program advice too. Very user friendly and lots of control for editing.

Excellent capture, this tells a story on a number of levels. Love the composition of the shot, all elements combine beautifully and your choice to shoot in Black and White is perfect as it really enhances the feel of abandonment. Well done F/V
Luke Moore replied:
Thanks Blair! Thank you for F/V. This is one of my new favorites. It is so much more powerful in black and white than it was in color. Different animal for sure.
