Mostly cloudy, seascape photograph of the Marginal Way in Ogunquit, Maine, ME during a spring morning. The sun peeks through just a little bit to illuminate the sky and the white, frothy water. The Margin is a walkway that spans a scenic portion of Maine's coast and the Atlantic Ocean. The Marginal way was started in 1925 with a donation of land made by Josiah Chase. The walkway has been preserved and managed by Ogunquit’s Marginal Way Committee with help from a non-profit called the Marginal Way Preservation Fund.
