I have Lyme Disease, so this one is very special to me. Hope it helps in some way to create small waves of change and awareness.

Luke, You have done a great service by educating us about Lyme Disease. Of course I had heard of it, but had no idea of its effects. I will keep coming back to your site. Keep the faith, man. F/V

Thank you Anne-Elizabeth! I'm glad you were able learn a little bit more :) Thank you for your kind and thoughtful words.

Luke, this "Ribbon" Series is outstanding work and a great concept with which to raise the overall awareness factor amongst not only the members of FAA but out amongst the general population. Sadly though, my friend you are right in what you say... the Medical Industry and the Insurance Companies are focussed on the business aspect and if a particular disease does not have a "High" enough public profile, then for them there is no money to be made in researching a cure for that disease. The result being that it never receives the funding necessary to find a cure., I am glad that I was in some small way able to promote this Series as best I could..... Blair
Luke Moore replied:
It's amazing how it all actually works and how it is supposed to work ;) The least we can do is raise some more awareness about a couple of diseases. Thank you very much Blair, for your thoughts and your help :)

Luke, it takes a very strong, courageous and special person to to lay ones personal issues on the table for all to see. You are such a man and I admire you for so doing. The image and in this instance especially the words you have written to accompany it, make this very powerful work. .This is a wonderful and fitting tribute to those who are suffers of Lyme Disease. Like AD this disease does not have a high profile amongst the general public and you are to be commended for doing this to not only pay tribute to those who have fought or are, like you, fighting the disease but to increase public awareness of the disease itself.. My compliments to you Luke..... vote, fav, tweet SU FB and +1
Luke Moore replied:
Absolutely right Blair...Lyme Disease does not get the recognition that it deserves sometimes. It has remained a very controversial disease, which in the end only hurts the patients. On the other hand, I realize that the medical industry and insurance and all of that is just a business like any other business. It's a very awkward and frustrating situation. I really appreciate your effort to think about and write this detailed comment above :) Thank you very much.
