A teal, blue, turquoise Ferris wheel with lovely cloud patterns at The Spencer Fair in Spencer, Massachusetts, MA, 01562. This photograph started as an infrared photo from my IR converted camera. The Spencer Agricultural Fair has been held in Spencer since 1888 and most recently has been located at the Spencer Fairgrounds.

The first Ferris Wheel was originally invented by George Washington Gale Ferris Jr. and was finished in 1893. Ferris was an engineer from Pittsburgh, PA and spent $25,000 of his own money on handpicked engineers, numerous safety tests, and for recruiting additional investors.
